Ok, so I have a camera phone, so you get phone photos:

    Gate at Washington National

An airport gate at Washington National at 6:30 AM. Not such a good place to be so early in the morning.

    Gulf of Mexico

So I went to Florida for a family wedding (which was a lot of fun), and came back with a dead phone. I walked into the Gulf with my trusty Sony-Ericsson T226. Oops. It was probably one of my favorite and most durable phones, lasting several years.

Anyway, I bought a new phone. I wanted the Motorola SLVR L7, but I thought the keypad looked less than durable. I settled on the same phone everyone else chose, the RAZR V3. Fortunately, due to the popularity and relative old age of the RAZR, there are many patches, hacks, and miscellaneous utilities available. The best hack I’ve found so far is the OS X skin (available here: Mac OSX Tiger Skin v1.2 for RAZR V3). There are a bunch of other utilities for modifying various phone settings and transferring data to and from the phone. Just search for RAZR, P2K and hack.

Don’t like the little Cingular guy? You can display any 96×80 gif you want:

Oh yeah, I did manage to do a little cycling in October:

    October Summary
    Total distance (October): 100.52 miles
    Total distance (Cumulative): 1486.74 miles
Total time (Cumulative): 112 hours, 20 minutes

Not too much going on here. I’ve been busy with less than important things like work and school. It has been a little cold and a little rainy, so not too much riding. I don’t even have any good photos, of anything, at all. So, you get this old postcard:

    Vanagon Syncro Post Card

Vanagon GL Syncro — Volkswagen’s automatically engaging all-wheel drive van features a patented, new, viscus coupling to adapt the driving mode to existing driving conditions. Also available in two Vanagon Camper models.

What else? Here is a “good” link I stumbled across: so, you like odd brakes, eh?

I suppose this site “good” if you have an interest in weird old cantilever bicycle brakes…
