Why did I do that? (Part II)
This is rev 2 of my blog. The first blog, as with the entire site, was written with iWeb. My first foray into WYSIWYG HTML editors was iWeb. I was under whelmed. iWeb generated bloated, nasty code with huge png images and an unimaginable directory structure. I rewrote the site, sans blog, with Dreamweaver. That was a nice site, I think it lasted about half a day. I used the templates and other Dreamweaver features to replicate the iWeb site. This was actually a decent site, but very boring.
The site you find at [removed] was written with Dreamweaver, but relies on a single php script (except for the blog). I ditched the Dreamweaver templates and other fluff. The current version stays true to the original iWeb template, adding a few of my own features and functions.
I have added the WordPress weblog app to the other site to make sure you don’t miss out on any of my complaints. I am not happy with the current configuration. Maybe some day I’ll incorporate the blog into the homepage. Don’t hold your breath.
